Ending Child Slavery
What can you do to help end child slavery?

When she was just 8 years old, Vivienne Harr saw a picture of two Nepalese boys carrying heavy stones on their backs. Vivenne was inspired to raise over $150,000 to end child slavery by selling lemonade at her own roadside stand. What can you do to raise awareness of this problem and help end child slavery?

Did you know...
  • There are 27 million people living in slavery worldwide?
  • 215 million children as young as 5 years old work instead of going to school? In the United States, as many as 300,000 kids are at risk of exploitation?
  • Thousands of children have been brought into the U.S. to work as domestic slaves?
  • 70 percent of child slaves are girls
